Just found this on google's support page for admod.

"Please note that we are closing down AdMob Smartphone Web on May 1, 2012 and consolidating it with the main Google AdSense for content product. If you would like to monetize a mobile website, we strongly encourage you to either sign up for or log in to your AdSense account at http://adsense.google.com. From there, you can generate the right ad tag for your mobile site."

...so I guess that now admob will be impossible with Flex mobile?!? I was in the middle of a project that relies on Flex mobile to support adds and I just now found this :(

Any thought anyone?

I've never used admob for production with html ads. I have used leadbolt and for the url I put the url of my site. I usually create a site for each app I make, and that is what I put for the "App / Site URL *:" for leadbolt. Never had issues with terms of service. Just to note there is also a native extension for admob.

I'm trying to put ads in my current app before I publish it, I can't figure out what I'm supposed to put in the required url field for the app. I don't want to guess or put irrelevant information / jeopardize my account.

What did you put in the form to get it all working??? Have you had any terms of service problems come back to haunt you?

Thanks,
Todd

Alain,

Thanks for the wonderful example. It works great.

I have a question: How do you refresh the ads?
Can one set the refresh rate or force a reload/refresh of the ads when an action is performed (for example: push a button, etc.)?

Thanks.

My example with my account still works for ad mob. I did notice however that they changed the .js file location.
I am about to release an app with LeadBolt. I'll post my experiences with them.
